About Revieware

Revieware was started on Blogger.com in September 2005 to help confused people decide which product to choose from the ever-growing catalogs all companies have.

As time progressed, Revieware required monumental changes which could not be achieved on a blogspot.com sub-domain.We shifted to to revieware.net when revieware.blogspot.com turned one or shall we say revieware’s first birthday. It was powered completely by Drupal, with a million features and brilliant content management.

Again this system was flawed because the one important thing for a community review site was missing: A user-friendly interface. We’ve been getting quite a few emails and read most of them too. The revieware you see right now is a result of careful execution of users’ requests and now proudly powered by Wordpress with an interface designed specially for users of revieware. You no longer have to wait for huge images to load as in our previous version of the website as this uses CSS and CSS2 techniques that help each page load quickly. The response to this new website has been great.

The general view is that websites void of advertisements on the left, right and center are heaven. And since we do not intend to redirect our traffic to places which may not be useful to our users, we’ve chosen to run revieware without monetizing on the power of it’s mind share.

Let’s hope this experience remains as good as it can be and we continue to meet our visitors’ expectations on time. The site isn’t controlled by just one person, it was created by students from leading schools in Delhi, India. It is this core team that helps Revieware maintain it’s quality of content and now also the experience. We’re feeling lucky because you are too.

Since our funds limit us from promoting revieware through advertisements, we really appreciate if you could do something to help our community prosper.
