Well…. What’s life in a Metro all about? Its all about survival; a race to win at any cost and not a morning walk. There are extra-marital affairs, bride and bridegroom hunters, wives who sacrifice their future for family welfare, struggling artists, just to name a few, and the movie provides a taste of these experiences with its star cast.

I admit it.. the title is enough to navigate most of you readers away from this post.. anyways.. here it goes..

Cast
* Hrithik Roshan
* Aishwarya Rai
* Abhishek Bachchan
* Uday Chopra
* Bipasha Basu (eeks..)
The cast looks just too good for a movie like this..
Plot + Synopsis (warning: Spoiler Info.. anyways.. most of you have seen it!)
This movie is just another Cops and Robbers movie.. a genre bollywood and Indian public loves.. more than the movie.. the public loves the amount of High speed chases, free-falls, pyrotechnics, death-defying stunts that is packed into this 2:45 movie and the goosebumps each scene raises..

I’m definitely not a bollywood movie buff. Heck the last Hindi movie I saw was Lagaan (that too after a lot of pressure from my friends). But all I can say is Rang de Basanti “Kicks some serious …”The actors have portrayed their characters in such a soulful manner that it seems almost too real. You just can’t help loving the characters in this film, they’re the epitomes of adolescent cocky behavior (apni jaati ke bindaas log) and yet don’t give the slightest impression of being atrocious law breakers.(although you do see Aamir Khan bribing a policeman) The plot is immaculate while the cinematography is just plain gorgeous. The story gets really emotional (I saw 9 females crying in the theatre) and although many may disagree the ending is just right with the perfect last words (jail mein bas beer sheer bandh ho jaayegi yaar) and really touching background music. As for the storyline (which almost all of you know by now) all I can say is that it’s about the awakening of a bunch of bike riding, beer guzzling ,strip dancing college guys (and two chicks) to the evil of corruption in our country.
